There are many reasons to avoid consuming raw milk, but the most crucial is the significant risk of E. coli infection, which far outweighs any potential benefits. Also, no, you're not going to get H5N1 antibodies from cows, but you might die.

I just need to clarify that raw milk does not naturally contain E. coli. The infection comes from a dirty environment during/after milking. There are small, pastured dairy farms who produce safe raw milk. But the majority of our CAFO dairy operations do not. Buyer beware for sure.

Correct, bacteria present in raw milk are from infected udder tissues (e.g., mastitis causing bacteria), the dairy environment (e.g., soil, water, and cow manure), and/or milking equipment. I would add that meat sold in stores can also legally contain e.coli at what's been deemed acceptable levels.

Sounds yummy and I'd also make sure to mention here, there is nothing inherently wrong with consuming pasteurized cow milk. My post was specifically about raw cow milk.
