Can residents of the United States sue the federal government for misappropriation of funds?

I see another example of behavior and actions that just were never done so there is no clear legal path to prohibit what they’re doing. SCOTUS does not care so there will be no rule of law applicable 😢

I was doing some reading, and it said the only way to sue the government is if they consent to being sued. Excuse me?? We should all be so lucky to say "You want to sue me? Yeah, not today."

You can certainly file a report about misuse of funds by elected officials.
