VENTILATE. WELL.

SARS-CoV-2 is more stable in air containing high levels of CO2, typical of poorly ventilated indoor spaces. This means it lasts longer and is more likely to infect people. Even a moderate rise in CO2 results in a significant increase in the risk of disease transmission.

⚠️⚠️ Higher environmental carbon dioxide levels mean that the chemical equilibrium of the droplets is shifted and less bicarbonate decomposes, making the aerosols’ pH more acidic and hospitable to viruses 🦠.

They found that as little as 800ppm carbon dioxide can reduce the rate of viral decay, concentrations that can be found in enclosed spaces.

CO2 measuring devices have proven to be very helpful in letting us know when it's time to ventilate... I have one at home and look at it few times a day and ventilate more when the numbers go up.

So additional atmospheric CO² may make us more susceptible to viruses in the long run.

One more consideration for unintended consequence.

Absolutely! Just what I was thinking. The atmospheric gases need to be brought back in balance for so many reasons.
