When used as an insult, obviously yes. I'm curious if it's OK within some communities.

It's implying she's too masculine to be properly feminine. And I'm not aware of any context where "butch" is a common term outside of the queer community.

But isn't that the essence of what MTG implied about her eyelash extensions (a common expression of femininity) being too feminine ?

I’m seeing how people as it as gendered and respect that. I will say, my first reaction wasn’t that, but as Deb says above, specifically to her somewhat extreme gym body (which can apply to either gender, but seems disproportionate on MTG specifically.) But better not to hurt others.

It's up there with saying Lidsay Graham is so deep in the closet, he's passed Narnia

It's accurate, but still probably shouldn't be said.

Maybe we need to back to the fun, nonsensical British/Scottish Trump insults ie, "you absolute lemon"

We'll have republican bills banning citrus within a week

I just wondered if there are contexts in which 'butch body' would be used as a simple appraisal, or a compliment. As you say, in the queer community.
