Question: What do you do with all of the extra reusable bags you buy when you forget to bring the ones you already have to the store with you? Give them away? Recycle them?

I turned a bunch of bags in the bottom of the pantry into “plarn”—plastic yarn—for upcycled crochet projects. First plan? A reusable market bag. Next? Bins for the pantry.

That's interesting. How do you turn the bags into plarn?

Give them away as gift bags all year round.

That one's a little tricky for me - Depends on the logo on the bags 😉

When giving things to charitable organizations (Salvation Army, Goodwill) pack the items in the reusable bags.
