The sad part is, he'll probably be released almost immediately on parole. If he's blaming someone else for his own actions, he should be serving every single second of that sentence.

All of these motherfuckers are getting off easy. Brian Sicknick was murdered & every single insurrectionist - by their actions - participated in the conspiracy that led to his death. They shd all be facing - at minimum - manslaughter charges in addition to all others for which they are standing.

Unfortunately, the Feds have changed their sentencing structure and do offer good time 'credits'. He will get pre and post sentence credits and time off for good behavior. He will likely have 3 years of supervised parole release and cannot, as a convicted felon ever possess a firearm, again.
