GREAT NEWS: Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell says that inflation will further decline in 2023.

Our State of the Union is only becoming stronger under President Biden.

But why continue to hurt low income people by raising interest rates. Inflation, brought to you by billionaires and bankers, paid for by regular folk.

Real question, isn't 80 a bit old to run a country?

I don't judge by number, but by cognitive ability. Look at Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden who are basically the same age, but Bernie is way more energetic; although I've never seen Bernie on a bike!

Then tell them to stop raising interest rates which only benefits the rich and corporations and only hurts the bottom 90% with the poorer down the list you go feeling even more financial pain.

Actually higher interest rates mean higher rates on savings. Just saw a 5yr CD with a 4.25% rate. Unheard of lately.

There is little doubt in my mind that the House R's will default on our debt, placing everything in turmoil.

Maybe the debt limit issue will finally get taken to the SCOTUS and resolved once and for all. Threatening not to raise the debt ceiling is financial obstructionism. The constitution basically says the full faith and credit of the United Sates shall not be questioned.
