Mankind really has fucked up this planet to a fare-thee-well. Can it be brought back from the brink?

UN Climate Report states: “Humanity is on thin ice — and that ice is melting fast.

What steps do you take in your personal life to help mitigate climate change and preserve the environment?

Permaculture gardening, rain harvesting to limit h2o usage outdoors. Reduce, reuse, repurpose. Natural fibers, limited use of chemicals, shopping locally as much as possible, limiting packaging & resulting waste.

Things to work on: shorter, more efficient showers

Thank you do much for your answer. I am interested in how you will implement solar. I take it you have a lot of light? We are not situated well for solar.
We have gone totally organic, xeriscaping, only native plants, collect rainwater when it rains, minimal driving, similar to you. Thank you!

There are over 230 million adults in the US. If we all did a few things to help the planet, it would have a big impact. Doing nothing is not a smart choice.
