Deep within all of us, there is a constant battle between emotion and logic.

How do you handle getting dumped? Do you get angry and vow to ruin the person's life, or do you realize it happened for a reason and vow to better yourself?

This is a great question, for me its not anger, its hurt, and I end up crying it out, eventually letting that out helps me to heal. I don't think you can get through it without letting out your emotions though although as you get older I think you can control them more easily.

While... we should always take time to better ourselves everyday.

It is also important to realize that sometimes there is nothing to be done as the struggle is within the other partner. Wish them well and move on.
