Advice time:
My ex's fiance choked my youngest kid yesterday after school for a few seconds.

Some background: youngest kid is 15 and trans. She lives with her mom, my ex, and ex's fiance. My daughter has really bad grades in geometry this semester.

No reason for that whatsoever. If the ex can't control themselves, they have no business around the child. Period.

100% agreement there. She's not going to live with her mom and that asshole again, ever. I'll fight that with everything in me. Now I'm just wondering if there is any point to filing a report considering no evidence and no witnesses.

I’d file a report anyway provided your daughter is ok with it.

Thanks. I'll talk to kiddo about it. I suppose if nothing is else maybe it gives me something on paper if this gets nasty about custody (but I doubt that will happen, ex often treats her more like a burden than anything).

Always good to have this stuff documented. I worked for public assistance in family services years ago and the first thing we told people was to keep dated notes, records anything to make sure you remember details. My heart goes out to you both.
