I'm confused, so no one come for me on this it's a sincere question. Why would anyone want to tip my spouts or vice versa? I'm not getting a light bulb moment here.

Probably for artists, writers, Podcasters, musicians, makers, chefs, etc. Someone could post something cool or informative or inspiring. it's one way to show my appreciation. I've never felt obligated, but I don't mind having the option.

Let's say your spouts were mainly campaigning, or consciousness raising, but not a specific appeal like a 'Go Fund Me. Or spending particular time to research or collate information. People who want you to keep on doing it might Tip you.

Someone else gave me a bit of explanation but it's still not jivving in my head. It just sounds like something I wouldn't attach to my own posts; there's no need and I'm not so inspiring, witty or providing that great content that I'd ask for a "tip". More often than not my posts get ignored.
