One thing which is often overlooked is that God created the earth with everything in an "advanced" condition.

The trees looked older than they were. Both humans looked as if they had lived for years.

So, the stars also looked as if the universe was very old.

The rocks would've looked old, also.

At the time it was created it LOOKED billions of years old.

How were Adam and Eve able to see the stars?

Because the starlight between the stars and the earth was created as well as the stars. The first starlight did not travel across the universe, it was created as already having arrived.

What you call "scientific knowledge" assumes that if something LOOKS old that it therefore is old. But that is an assumption and is NOT knowledge.

Because everything was created in an "advanced" condition, efforts to determine the age of the earth and of the universe are based on a false assumption.
