You can’t “politicize” US gun violence. It’s already political. Every other rich democracy in the world has sane gun laws. That’s the default. To do otherwise was a political choice.

Tolerating the routine mass slaughter of civilians *is* an inherently political choice.

It's all about NRA donations; they're willing to watch the bodies pile up as long as the cash keeps coming in. Break the NRA and/or repeal Citizens United and maybe this problem starts to get solved.

The arrogance of this country's superiority and sense of self importance is reflected in the millions being addicted to an obviously insane man.

Political cowardice and craven disregard for children's lives is also a choice.

it is a political choice to spend more on policing, the business of prisons and body bags than on the social needs of communities.

If we're dead, it's one less person to feed, house, edu, etc.
The Peoples can file lawsuits against the US govt.

Any time someone says "this isn't political" or "this shouldn't be political", what they're really saying is "I want to treat this as the norm and Other-ize anything else as a partisan agenda, thereby maintaining the status quo."

Anti-politics is pro-status quo- and thus inherently conservative.

All their stupid arguments have fallen apart about a thousand times. We need to remove these depraved assholes from the convo.

They just keep saying the same fucking things that don't make sense and we have to pretend like it isn't tired, hollow, stale bullshit. Enough.

So is knowingly facilitating it. Do you know of federal options for charging state-level politicians with willful complicity?
