Just clicked "spout off" after a hiccup in my internet connection and couldn't immediately tell if my comment had posted. Said out loud, "Did I spout? Can you tell if I spouted?" Then I laughed like Beavis and Butthead.

Same just happened to me. Things are glitchy, probably due to rapid user growth.

Rapid user growth is good. I think people are realizing that without verifiable sources of information and some sort of fact-checking mechanism, Twitter is going to be like the wild, wild west. I mean...it kind of already is, and people haven't even started getting confused about sources yet.

I agree completely. The rapid growth strains the limited number of servers the company is operating with so things get glitchy. I saw Bouzy acknowledge this yesterday in a spout.

I don't think anyone will be bothered by the temporary glitches. I'm just excited to see more people joining. I think this one really will be a contender as the next big social media site (that isn't a free-for-all for rage).
