Two young Black American teens made world-shaking news this week. The young ladies submitted a paper solving the mathematical origin of Pythagoras' Theorem.

It was a 2,000-year-old mystery no one had solved before without using circular logic.

Could the girls win a Nobel Prize?

Nobel Prize=Absolutely! I particularly love the fact that Calcea Johnson & Ne'Kiya Jackson used trigonometry — something the math scholars didn't believe was possible. HA HA!

What does solving a math theorem using "circular logic" mean?

It means that the person can't explain the fundamental hypothesis of a theorem w/out using the theorem itself.

In layman's terms, "You don't know the answer to the question, so you're using the question to answer itself."
