All states are some shade of purple. 30 to 49% of voters in "Red" states voted Blue and many more who would have voted Blue stayed home because they felt, "What's the point? Republicans are going to win this state no matter what." Encourage, don't condemn.

Enough with the "let red state secede," "they deserve it because they voted R," "they should just move" BS. You might think it's cute & clever, but it's cruel, condescending, & selfish – you're saying "as long as I'm fine in my safe blue state who cares if the most vulnerable suffer?"

In response to Lynn From_OK.
I'm in a red state where the metro areas are blue but the rural areas are red. We are trying to change it, with our young people stepping up in a wonderful way.

Don't dismiss us; it is a process and there are a lot of good people here!
