No Mika, it should be -but it is not a normal occurrence for a depressed person to be inpatient for 4-6 weeks. the average person with insurance 3-5 DAYS and out you go. probably with meds. #MorningJoe

I have a friend who suffers from depression she was hospitalized for just st about a month. It is different in all cases.

True. I’m saying on average. There are many cases outside of the typical; and if you don’t have thoughts of self harm. which he says he did not. you may not get admitted at all unless your functioning, your self care is totally deteriorated. That is absolutely some top tier care Fetterman is getting

He has top tier insurance! But you are right some people unfortunately with mental health issues are not getting the care they really need. This is a big problem. Yes the average stay is 24 to 48 hours not really helpful.
