It is not the place of the plaintiffs to concern themselves with how the guilty/responsible party will pay for his actions. A jury in a court of law determined that Jordan's life is worth $21+ million. How Oliver pays it is his problem.

No. He'll never pay it; so the question of how they get paid is another way of asking why they pursued the civil claim. Not asking that question is a critical flaw in the coverage. It also would have given the family another opportunity to tell their story
