If the Democratic Party wants to make strides in rural areas, see what just happened in Texas — > dozen rural Rs voted to ban vouchers. The party should come out swinging against private school vouchers.

Yet, a slew of Dems got behind a charter school baron in the Chicago mayor race 🥴 (he lost)

Public funding of private schools that can pick choose students by religion or color or physical and mental needs is wrong no matter what party voters are from.

I think there are plenty of Democrats who know how to make gains in rural areas — the problem is that people at the top won’t budge to implement those good ideas. Take it from a Texan! 🥴 Beto O’Rourke just did an interview that said the Texas Democratic Party isn’t functioning. I can’t refute that.
