Bear with me as an outsider to your country because this is difficult to comprehend. But is this:

1. Normalising judicial corruption in 🇺🇸?
2. Acceptance of judicial corruption by political representatives?
3. An outcome of a politicised judiciary?
4. What are the next steps?
Scott Dworkin @dworkin
Clarence Thomas obviously should be impeached, but Republicans won’t let that happen. Because they’re accomplices reaping the same kind of rewards via the same corruption.

There are no ethics rules in place for the SCOTUS. They can pretty much do whatever they want. THIS MUST CHANGE. The corruption is real.

How will a code of ethics be enforced (by whom?) and what are the penalties in the code when it is breached?

All good questions with no answers yet. Getting ethics rules passed for the SCOTUS will be an uphill battle. It will take a long time and with probably little Republican support. Why would Republicans want ethics rules when they don’t honor rules period.
