Exercise and going to the gym are both beneficial; however, drastically reducing your food consumption, eating healthy, and drinking a lot of water is the best and fastest strategy for weight loss. Period

I know everyone is different, but for me WHAT I eat is critical. Sugar is the enemy, and it is hard to avoid.

“Calories in; calories out” - that’s it. Simply, move more; use more calories than you consume. It’s that simple.

It's not that simple. For women, menopause makes a huge difference. I was about 100 pounds overweight when I was 38. I decreased what I ate a bit, &, over 15 years, lost 50 pounds. But since menopause, even though I now walk an average of 5 miles a day, I have to reduce what I eat a lot more.
