Help Wanted: Techniques for avoiding blossom end rot on tomatoes and peppers. Zone 5Bish. In the past, I've amended the planting holes with all the usual suspects, but can't seem to get into full fruiting season without losing half of the fruit! #gardening #SpoutibleGardening #SpoutibleGardeners

I’m 7b, but I use ollas to keep moisture even , that seems to help with nutrient uptake .

Is that (olla) a slow-release watering approach? I have my garden on its own irrigation zone, which makes dialing in water a bit of a challenge. I’ll try something different with watering this year. Thanks for the tips! 🍻

It is! They’re terracotta pots you bury in the ground and then soil, and then the plant root, wicks what water they need. I live in very hot, mostly dry summers and I only water 1-2 time a week by filling them up. They’re worth a Google. I make diy ones, real ones are a little pricey.
