Interesting. Except for maybe here in WA. We have hummingbirds year-round. In freezing temps I’m constantly replacing their sugar water so it’s not ice! They’re a delight!

In Texas they leave mid September. Several towns along the coast have Hummingbird Festivals during the Fall Migration.

I wonder what makes them migrate in Texas but not here? One would think it would be the other way around? 🤷🏻‍♀️
