gives leverage to every extremist or rabbit hole dweller, however few their supporters and elevate them to public relevance, even give them a bullhorn

I said the same thing to a “reporter” a couple of years ago on that other site. She was actually offended, that I suggested journalists should be held to a higher standard when disseminating information to the public.

I agree. It is also necessary to educate citizens what the Fairness Doctrine does, what has occurred since it’s demise and why it matters! Here’s an opportunity for 60Minutes to redeem itself!
