So glad this man stepped in.
Knowing my son had been shot while running an errand for me, then knowing he had to ask THREE different neighbors for help… I can’t put it into words.

This man and the other who helped should be recognized big time. They stepped up when others stepped back.

Using threaded spout to clarify this post since it’s WAY too late to edit.
Looking back, the post looks ambiguous. It can give the impression I’m the mother to this sweet boy. I’m not. I was thinking of how I would feel if it was my son.
This happened minutes from my house and I’m still rattled.

Why should he be recognised?
Being a decent human being should be a normal thing for everyone.
The man who shot Yarl & the neighbours who refused to help should be ashamed for the rest of their lives.
& thanks to the man who helped if it’s true. ✌🏼
If being kind isn’t your go to, that’s a problem

I’m sad that this wasn’t the norm. That kindness was so out of the ordinary. But in this case it was. I would rather elevate these men than the one who shot him.
