Only 2.2 million people watch Fox "News" nightly. That is a tiny fraction of the American electorate and a shrinking demographic.

Perhaps we give them too much power and best just focus on developing our own communication and information networks to reach the other 300 million people instead.

Well it would be nice to ignore fascists but, their numbers aren't the issue. The outsized power they wield among our elected officials is. Ignoring Nazis does not make them go away, it makes them more likely to kill everyone when no one's looking.

I never used the word "ignore". The reason they have so much power is because we collectively agree to give them so much power. With on 2.2 million viewers they can be out organized.

Sorry, but no. They aren't an illusory or irrational fear. Our attention or lack thereof is *not* what gives them power. Fascists always attack from the minority.

The billionaires funding them and the entire Republican Party catering to them, that's what gives them power.

I agree we need to focus proactive efforts on engaging the disengaged. But, it is IMO a dangerous error to think bc they are few, they can't do real damage. They can.

To quote Stacey Abrams, you can't out-organize cheating and vote suppression. They don't intend to win by winning, they cheat.
