So many ways to have avoided this but he wasn’t looking for any.
He heard the doorbell ring and saw a black person….his fox-addled brain took over from there.
All that fear and paranoia worked like a charm as this old guy was confronted with the very thing fox has been warning him about!

It is mind boggling to discover that this fear mongering old man, marinated on a diet of 24 hour Fox News, somehow has found defenders on the right. The chasm between that mindset and my own feels completely unbridgeable.

It definitely is unbridgeable because the implication is that black people are scary to white people that it’s reasonable to shoot them on sight.
