We should have precisely ZERO billionaires. Nobody needs that amount of money to live comfortably. It's an obscenity created by a tax system written by politicians beholden to billionaires.

I believe the uncontrolled need to obtain ludicrous amounts of wealth is an addiction. Wealth is power, and too much of either is never enough. They will hurt others, lie, cheat and steal to acquire more wealth and power. To me, this seems like a textbook example of a seriously dangerous addiction.

It doesn't bother me to have people get wealthy, but they should be taxed at the same rate as the rest of us, and their money shouldn't afford them more power in our government.

We used to tax excessive income at a 90% rate in the 1950s. It was lowered to 70% and was the top tier until the 1980s when the TRA of 1986 passed and lowered it to 35%, under Reagan of course, at the cost of MANY Middle Class deductions such as credit card interest.

When the poor and middle class carry the tax burden...this is the end result.
