Dementia doesn’t follow a timeline. It’s been 14 mos since hubs’ diagnosis. He went thru psychological testing, CTscan, PETscan, lumbar puncture, labs, eval @Mayo . This morning he said, “I think something is wrong w/my brain. Should I see the dr?” Oh, sweetheart, let’s see how the day goes.

I'm so sorry. It's a tough road. My husband never had insight into his condition. ❤️

Thank you. So sorry about your husband. My husband has enough awareness that makes his dementia especially cruel. Thank goodness for the part that makes him forgetful. Once he has a moment of awareness, it usually passes & is forgotten.
