Shouldn't this be doing serious damage to the reelection, or presidential election ambitions?!? If he bails on his state to go campaigning thousands of miles from the state he governs, the voter base should understand *exactly* what kind of leader he is for Florida, thus the country should he win...

Much of South FL runs Democratic and that’s exactly why he’s not here and doesn’t care. His rash of disturbingly right wing recent laws are rapidly alienating voters down here. Plus it’s his final term as Governor so he is happy to piss off whomever. All of it’s a terrible miscalculation.
