I'm near the end of #Maus . I found the images to be impactful. Seeing the mouse people made their situation of being hunted more plausible. It wouldn't have been the same in text. #SpoutibleBannedBookClub

Read this when young. Read also The Little Prince, Winnie the Pooh, Animal Farm, Siddhartha, Brave New World, Alice in Wonderland, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, Letters from the Earth, The Devil’s Dictionary, and even “Anthem” (Ayn Rand!). Also Ouspensky and Gurdjieff,

You seemed to also have my parents giving you books as a kid 😂! The last 2 on your list tho only rang bells & found... "Gurdjieff knew, as did Edmund Husserl ... that perception is intentional. He also knew that the less intentional and more passive we remain, the deeper our forgetfulness becomes."
