Anyone in the #WritingCommunity on #Spoutible use the Freewrite Traveler? I haven't stopped thinking about it after an ad like 6 months ago and want to hear your experience please. I'm a big tech geek and want all the deets 🤓

That looks pretty neat, I love a tactile keyboard. I'm curious what kind of files it generates to transfer to other devices, whether they are in an easily readable format, are they just TXT or RTF files? The site doesn't say.

Via their portal "Postbox" it says you can get "plain text or PDF files", still vague though. I'm also hesitant to sign up for Postbox, which acts as middleman between the Freewrite and Dropbox/Google Drive. I don't need another login to another thing. 🙃 No USB port for data access?👎

Wait, I take it back. "Traveler - Offline document saving and access" - looks like you can use an included USB cable to get at the Freewrite's folders and files. They are saved as *.txt files.
