I appreciate Chitwood standing up to Nazi scum. But any proposed law that would ban anti-Semitic hatred based on content won't withstand Constitutional scrutiny. That said, they CAN pass laws regulating speech clearly intended to intimidate (w/o regard to content/viewpoint). Stick to that.

I say this not because I necessarily agree with existing jurisprudence, but because I know what it says. The SCOTUS said, for instance, that a St Paul ordinance against speech rooted in racial hate was unlawful, thus cross burners couldn't be prosecuted under it...BUT...

...they also said in a case out of VA, that a cross burning COULD be prosecuted under a law prohibiting actions intended to intimidate (with the burden of proof on the state of course). So speech is not necessarily incapable of being restricted so long as the law isn't aimed at content or viewpoint
