Twitter was a strong promotional/marketing channel for me and I still feel uncomfortable jumping right into that on Spoutible.

I'm on Bluesky and, while I haven't seen anyone being ugly, it def has the frat boy shit-posting vibe that leads me to not take it seriously as a platform.

Yes, I saw that when I read the TOS and it has definitely influenced my posts and comments... not that I've posted a lot.

The piece that concerns me the most is any unwillingness to delete content upon request.

I'll give Spoutible a chance with my posts about freelancing and marketing for a couple of weeks and see how they are received.

I'd forgotten how hard it is to get started on a new platform. Twitter started as personal posts and an established group of friends.

Excited to see where this leads.
