Here’s a timeline cleanse
for @Phee or anyone.

#collectibles , anyone?

My sister found a piece of
#McCoyPottery for $5.
She’s gifting it to my daughter,
who is sure to love its design and cool, pale green color for her new home. #AuntieLove

I once bought a watercolor painting by Walter Granville Smith. I gave it to my son and daughter-in-law. I gave $5 for it. Later we found it was worth thousands. Famous American painter from the 1870s to 1934. Love the McCoy I collect Ohio Valley pottery. McCoy and Redwing my favorites.

Oh, that is an #AntiquesRoadshow -worthy story! What a bit of good fortune.

I dream of finding a Bucks County Impressionist painting in some unexpected place.

I wonder if this gift will inspire my daughter to look for more McCoy.

Maybe she’ll just enjoy this one beautiful piece.
