Agree completely. In my brief experience with recoveryl work, they taught us to meet people where they’re at, not where we think they should be. Also, just assume that everyone is doing the best they can with what they know at the time.

Exactly, thank you, that is a perfect response. Its important to stay mindful because judging people can be very quick, subconscious, or damn close to it. This is why good teachers are so important who see us better than sometimes we see ourselves.
