I cried reading Rabbi Bogard's words. My brother is a Holocaust scholar & we often talk about how, in the 1930's/40's, people went about their business thinking "nothing bad will happen". Until it did.

By then it was too late to stop the horrors before 10 million had been murdered. #NeverAgain

I think it's hard for ppl who've never been persecuted & hated for something beyond their control to truly understand the stakes. They don't see there's evil in the world taking advantage of their blinders to harm others. They say we're overreacting until it's too late then it opens their eyes.
