This man might be the most history-ignorant person to ever run for president (at least until DeSantis gets in officially.)

Gandhi got his idea for non violent protest, at least in part, from an American.

Thoreau's 'On the Duty of Civil Disobedience', inspired by his experience in jail for supporting abolitionism, inspired Ghandi and the whole thing came full circle back to USA and civil rights

I honestly feel this is parts grift & trolling. There's no way he even believes the bullshit that's tumbling out of his own mouth.

For someone who has a history outside of the American Black Experience on this soil, you are ignorant in your continued tropes. It's confusing how Immigrants whether 1st, 2nd, & thereafter propose a higher value of themselves than those Black Americans who were born & raised on the Amercan soil

He comes across to me as having a fixation with Black people, but in trying to impress us, he's just awkward and getting it all wrong. Especially with regard to Black History.

And, at least in part, Ghandi got the idea for nonviolent protest from Thoreau's Civil Disobedience which was written after he was imprisoned for not paying his taxes in support of abolitionism.

So, it comes full circle back to the USA.

He's history resistant. It just bounces off when it's presented.
