It looks like you nailed it! I love the one from Cook's Illustrated, but I don't know if you can find it online. Their high-roast chicken recipe is yummy, too, and interesting to read about their journey towards perfecting it.

Have not made lemon meringue or key lime pie since I hooked up with current dude and found out his system does not tolerate citrus. (Of course he ate 3/4 of the pie in one evening which may have factored in.) NY Times recipes always turn out well. I now only make cherry or apple pies

This is my grandmothers recipe for the filling. I dont have her recipe for the crust and we preferred Cool Whip to meringue but the filling is delicious, I guarantee.
