Let's say two reporters from the same network are at the scene of a newsworthy event, and they are spouting updates. Instead of two separate threads, they could collaborate on a single thread, and spout updates to that single thread.

I fear people would choose selfishness over organization and create their own post rather than contribute to someone else’s. Although, maybe this makes sense in today’s world where everyone is made to feel somewhat desperate for attention. It’s a good idea though and would be nice as the user.
