If you can’t get good house loans because you don’t have credit and you can’t build credit because house loans are out of reach so you get a high interest credit card.
Yeah that sounds like racism. Your parents don’t have wealth so they can’t co-sign so loans continue to be out of reach.

"However, the algorithms (and the underlying data that feed them) have been corrupted by generations of systemic oppression and financial exclusion of people of color." If you don't know the rubric by which an algorithm rates you then you shouldn't trust the validity.
