Epiphany!
I'm only responsible for my happiness, not my husband's.
I like to travel and do things, he's a home body. He also sometimes acts childish when we travel - he refused to join my family in a bar bc he didn't like the music 🙄
I told him I'm going to plan travel & outings & he's welcome

to come or not. But I'm not going to fuss over him. He's diabetic and refused to eat at an out of town event bc he didn't like the food options & everything else was closed.
He's a grown man, he can take care of himself.

And let him make his own plans! Y’all see each other every day, time apart to do what you like is fine and should be encouraged.

Yep - I told him I'd invite him & he can decide whether to join or not.
I'm going to see our daughter in July, he doesn't like where she lives, so fine, stay home.
