Been going to the vet every morning, for a week now, to try to get Hazel to eat. She has beat the odds on recovering from bobcat fever. She will only lick at some gravy, no solids, no water but still on IV fluids. The vet can't believe she is still alive. We have decided to bring her home Saturday.

Oh Bev! I'm so sorry y'all are going through this! Hazel might be more receptive to food once she is home. I have had some luck in the past with putting canned CD in a syringe and plopping a bit in the mouth to get the juices flowing. Nausea meds? Poor girl. Sending kitty love your way. 😻

Thank you Lisa. It's been a hard week but we've decided a week at the vet is long enough. I've already thought about the feeding with a syringe so we'll see? Hoping having her back home will inspire her. Not sure how many lives she has used up.
