And yet people stay. From political people, like POTUS, to regular folks who would never pay $8 for a blue check. I don't understand how that place is still standing after Musk ripped it up from the rooter to the tooter.

You're right. It's the same reason folks stay in dysfunctional relationships, families, jobs, they learn to live in the chaos, feed off it, and give it back in return. To almost make it fun. Then they think it's normal, or a normal alternative.

All of these things are correct. I poke my head in still, once in a while, to encourage friends I enjoy to make the change. But I let everyone know they're going to sew me less and less, then not at all. Keeping 2 similar social media accounts is too much work. And Twitter's a cesspool.
