25/52. First spring DCBC book club drop. Cherie Dimaline's VenCo. I love everything else from this author, and this is no exception. Witches fighting the patriarchy. Inception-style dream fight sequences. Hopefully, there's a sequel, I adored the cast and want more! 383p. (7/10)

28/52 Elizabeth Hay's Snow Road Station. Novel set in the Ottawa valley. An actress forgets her lines, escapes to the country to reset. Falls in love with the pace of life on the sugar shack. Some of the scenes felt like written Norman Rockwell paintings. Beautiful novel. 228p. (8/10) #BookSpout
