Arguably public architecture got more interesting. 1. National theatre, London, 2. Guggenheim Bilbao. That’s just public works. There are thousands of interests private residences that are fascinating in use of small spaces.

20th century included everything from Art Nouveau to Brutalism to modernism of the Guggenheim. All are magnificent.
Buildings that you don’t expect to be beautiful are when you pay attention to them.
They’re not Baroque, but they have huge import and impact. I love modernism
