So, what is Alt Text?
It’s exactly what it sounds like, an alternative way to consume an image via descriptive text. It means blind and low vision folks aren’t excluded from content or context when using a screen reader.

FYI: "Image of" doesn't need to be in the alt text...screenreaders announce "image", so the result is "Image image of". 😊

I know. I always like to *think* of it beginning with that. So, like, you don’t have to write “a photo of …”
I was trying to say that a screen reader will tell the user that it’s an image being described, but limited characters.
