The key point is that Americans stubbornly tend to think Rs are better for the economy when the opposite is true. We need to work to change this narrative. Weak allies of the marginalized might want to vote D but think Rs are better for their bottom line (which is selfish as hell, but also wrong).

These charts show that over the last 35 yrs, the economy functions astronomically better under D admins than Rs. As Simon Rosenberg writes, we need to spread that message; once it's internalized, we're sure to win in '24 & beyond https://simonwdc.substack....

I agree democrats or better. Example the employment rate is lowest for POC than even under Trump , The GOP had been crowing over Trumps record, we say that their is much more work to do, even when our record it better. They say so and we want perfection.

Great point. Same with the sorcery of Trickle-down. They troll us hard with clever euphemisms. “Conservatives” learned a long time ago that terminology matters and ditched the “whites only” lingo. “Religious freedom” & “voter integrity” sound much better than Christo-fascism and Blks shouldn’t vote.

One thing Democrats don't do well enough is sell and brand their own accomplishments. Look at the infrastructure law. They still refer to the BIF as the "Bipartisan" Infrastructure Framework, as if bipartisanship was what mattered. BIF should be re-branded as the "Biden Infrastructure Framework".

I don't get it. That's like an AI-generated picture of an attack when all you have to do is look out of the window. Do people never look at their pocket books?

As someone just reminded me, a lot of it is just an excuse because they don't want to show the real reason they vote R – for the bigotry. But yeah, it doesn't make any sense. It's just objective fact.
