"With a bit of research and creativity, anyone can create an affordable edible garden. Growing your own food provides benefits to both personal and planetary well-being, like creating a circular waste stream, educating on local climate, and saving money."

Have had gardens 38 years. Start small. Easier to get plants at start. Only grow what you like & eat. Some veggies can be regrown from original plant - lettuce, celery. There's now a countertop home composter called Lomi ? We compost food scraps, eggs, grass, leaves. Nourishes garden & flower beds.

Very helpful - love the idea of a circular kitchen.

When Covid hit (the first time) I grew potatoes on my deck and started an indoor hydroponic garden, rotating plants when one crop was done (so-to-speak). Lettuces, tomatoes, and herbs were easiest. Does that count?
