900% syphillis increase in Mississippi newborns in 5 years. It is not standard to screen there.

Seeing the same in Virginia (roughly 1800/yr) as well, but not as much of a rapid increase. 158% for 2007-2017. However, 2011, yielded zero cases, yhen sudeen uptick of an avg of 225+ more cases per year since.

US healthcare seems 2nd to every country. Stories saying MS has a 900% increase in syphilis is the latest proof. MS denied free Obamacare money which could've help more of its poor. I'm mostly anti states' rights, which gave them the right to do so. They shouldn't have a "right" that harms.

I should've said MS initially denied Obamacare money (Affordable Care Act). Like most red states, they denied the free money to help their poor, for the first few years.

I believe the US is 13th. However, studies have shown that the mortality rate amongst pregnant people and the healthcare which they receive isn’t based on a wealth inequity. But yes, MS did not expand Medicaid in the beginning & is trying to remove again.

There needs to be a testing mandate.

There are plenty of things that need to be mandated in healthcare that just aren’t, So, yes, there should be a testing mandate.
